VOLUNTEER APPLICATION

SHELTER ACTIVITIES

  • SHELTER VOLUNTEER (10:00 TO 2:00 M-F. one to four times a month:  Training necessary)
  • Adoption procedures
  • Preparing adoption folders
  • Greeting and showing animals to potential adopters
  • Playing with and petting kitties
  • Walking puppies and dogs
  • Assisting Animal Control Officers (ACO's) in registering pets, cleaning, washing animals, preparing cat cages as needed.
  • Duplicating papers
  • Answering the phone when ACO's are busy.
  • Organizing Cranford's receipts.
  • DOG WALKING:  (Between 10 and 2, your choice of days and times: must sign release forms.)

  • FOSTER PARENT

NON-SHELTER ACTIVITIES

  • Serve on the Board (2nd Wednesday of the month at 1:00)

  • Assist Board members with various fund raising activities

  • Help make phone calls

  • Stuff envelopes

  • Establish an area or business for collecting aluminum cans

  • Create items for the Craft Fair

  • Make Doggie Delites for the Craft Fair

  • Hang Posters in and outside the Village

  • Make beds and covers for the cat cages

  • Find Sponsors

  • Find Grants

  • Wood working projects (Plaques, etc.)

  • Painting projects.
