VOLUNTEER APPLICATION

SHELTER ACTIVITIES

  • SHELTER VOLUNTEER (10:00 TO 3:00 Monday through Saturday, one to four times a month: 
    Training necessary and release form signed)

    Answering the Phone
    Printing Forms
    Prepare adoption folders
    Greeting and showing animals to potential adopters
    Adoption assistance
    Playing & socializing the animals
    Bathing and grooming as needed
    Prep Dog/Cat Cages at end of day (Food, Water, Clean-up)

  • DOG WALKING:  (Between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Your choice of days.  Must sign a release form.)

  • FOSTER PARENTS - Temporary placement for socializing in your home.

NON-SHELTER ACTIVITIES

  • Interest in Joining the Board of Directors (2nd Monday each Month at 1:00 p.m.

  • Fund raising activities

  • Advertising

  • Create items for the craft show. (bake dog biscuits/ make beds & items for animals.

  • Strategic Planning

  • Distribute posters/ flyers

  • Financial:  Accounting/ Budget

  • Find sponsors and/ or grants

  • Assist in the spay and neuter program

  • Wood working projects (plaques, etc.)

  • Shelter upkeep projects (Painting, etc.)
